The Z Energy 1 Million Flybuys Promotion 2024

1. The Z Energy 1 Million Flybuys Promotion (the “Promotion”) is run by Loyalty New Zealand Limited (Loyalty NZ) and is governed by these terms and conditions, and the Flybuys Membership, and Reward Currency Terms and Conditions available at flybuys.co.nz (together the Terms and Conditions). Each term used but not defined in the Terms and Conditions has the meaning given to it in the Flybuys Membership or Reward Currency Terms and Conditions. By participating in the Promotion, you accept these terms and conditions. 

2. The Promotion is open to members of the Flybuys Programme (“Members”) except any Member who is:

a. an employee or director of Loyalty New Zealand Limited;

b. an employee or director of Z Energy Limited;

c. an owner, manager, or staff member of any Caltex or Z site;

d. an immediate family member of any of the above; or

e. Member on the same Flybuys Account as any of the above

3. The Promotion opens at 12.01am on 4 March 2024 and closes at 11.59pm on 31 March 2024 (the “Promotional Period”).

4. To enter the Promotion, purchase petrol, diesel, or a barista-made hot drink (excluding ‘limited time offer’ drinks and food-and-drink combos) at any Z station nationwide during the Promotional Period and scan your Flybuys card at the time of your purchase (“Qualifying Purchase”). To scan your Flybuys card, you may scan a physical card, or a digital card in the Flybuys App or Z App.

5. You will receive an entry into a prize draw (the “Draw”) for every Qualifying Purchase you make during the Promotional Period. For example, if you purchase fuel and two coffees in a single transaction you will receive three (3) entries into the Prize Draw.  

6. You may enter the Promotion as many times as you like, however there is a limit of one (1) Prize per Flybuys Member.

7. There are 100 prizes of 10,000 Flybuys (each a “Prize” or collectively the “Prizes”) to be won. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

8. The Prize Draw will be held within 15 business days of the end of the “Promotional Period.” Entries will be selected at random by Loyalty NZ and a Prize will be awarded to the first one hundred (100) valid entries selected from the Draw.

9. Loyalty NZ will make reasonable efforts to notify winners that they have won a Prize (using the email address or telephone number of each winner’s Flybuys membership details) and confirm the Flybuys Reward Currency the Prize will convert into. Flybuys Reward Currency Terms and Conditions apply to currency conversions of the Prizes.

10. If for any reason Loyalty NZ has tried but failed to make contact with a winner within five business days of the Member’s selection as a winner, Loyalty NZ may, at its discretion: 

a. deem that winner to have forfeited their right to the Prize; and 

b. draw another eligible winner in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. 

11. To be eligible to win a Prize, your Flybuys account details must be complete and up to date (including a current email address and phone number).  

12. Loyalty NZ may, at its discretion, deem that a Member is not eligible to win a Prize with an entry drawn if for any reason that entry has been gained as a result of: 

a. tampering with the entry process; or

b. an eligible transaction that was made within the Promotion Period, which is cancelled at any time during the Promotion Period or at the time prior to the Prize Draw. 

13. Unless Loyalty NZ otherwise agrees, to be eligible to win a Member whose entry has been drawn must consent to their name and/or image photograph being used on Flybuys’ Facebook or Instagram page or the Flybuys website for an unlimited period of time, without remuneration, for the purpose of promoting the Promotion (including any outcome) and the Flybuys programme.

The Caltex 1 Million Flybuys Promotion 2024

1. The Caltex 1 Million Flybuys Promotion (the “Promotion”) is run by Loyalty New Zealand Limited (Loyalty NZ) and is governed by these terms and conditions, and the Flybuys Membership, and Reward Currency Terms and Conditions available at flybuys.co.nz (together the Terms and Conditions). Each term used but not defined in the Terms and Conditions has the meaning given to it in the Flybuys Membership or Reward Currency Terms and Conditions. By participating in the Promotion, you accept these terms and conditions. 

2. The Promotion is open to members of the Flybuys Programme (“Members”) except any Member who is:

a. an employee or director of Loyalty New Zealand Limited;

b. an employee or director of Z Energy Limited;

c. an owner, manager, or staff member of any Z or participating Caltex site;

d. an immediate family member of any of the above; or

e. Member on the same Flybuys Account as any of the above

Flybuys “Earn & Win” Promotion Terms and Conditions 

1. The Flybuys “Earn & Win” promotion (Promotion) is run by Loyalty New Zealand Limited (Loyalty NZ) and is governed by these terms and conditions, and the Flybuys Membership Terms and Conditions and Flybuys Reward Currency Terms and Conditions available at flybuys.co.nz (together the Terms and Conditions). Each term used but not defined in these terms and conditions has the meaning given to it in the Flybuys Membership or Reward Currency Terms and Conditions.  

Promotional Period and Participating Partners

2. The Promotion runs from 12.01am on 22 January 2024 to 11.59pm on 3 March 2024 (the Promotional Period).
3. The Flybuys partners who are participating in the Promotion (each a Participating Partner) are all Flybuys partners and online retail partners with whom Flybuys can be earned during all or part of the Promotional Period.  

Entry into the Promotion

4. Members will receive entries into the Promotion as follows:

a. one entry for each transaction made with a Participating Partner (excluding State Insurance, Europcar, Harrisons, helloworld, Z Business Fuel Cards, Petcover, and BNZ) during the Promotional Period, where that transaction qualifies to earn standard Flybuys in the Promotional Period and that Member has notified the Participating Partner before the transaction is concluded that the transaction is a Flybuys transaction. This may be done by presenting the relevant Membership Card or by quoting or otherwise providing or linking the Membership Number to which the transaction relates (as applicable); and 
b. one entry for each for each Participating Partner selected from BNZ (excluding BNZ Crew), State Insurance, Petcover, and Z Business Fuel Card with whom a Member earns at least one standard Flybuys during the Promotion Period (subject to relevant BNZ and/or Z Fuel Card product terms and conditions); and  
c. one entry for each transaction made with Europcar, Harrisons, or helloworld Travel (whether during the Promotional Period or not) that qualifies to earn standard Flybuys, where the Flybuys associated with that transaction are allocated to the Member’s Flybuys account during the Promotional Period; and 
d. for any additional ways that Loyalty NZ and any Participating Partner may at their discretion agree on, and offer to Members as ways they can receive entries in the Prize Draw. 

5. Loyalty NZ reserves the right to not give an entry to a Member in connection with any transaction made with a Participating Partner where the spend in the transaction was entirely on one or more products or services which do not qualify for earning Flybuys (a Non-Qualifying Transaction). 

The Prizes and the Prize Draws

6.There will be 317 prizes of Flybuys units (Prizes) totalling 1,000,000 Flybuys allocated to three (3) prize draws (Prize Draws). The number of Flybuys in each Prize and the Prize Draw to which each Prize is allocated are set out in the following table:

7. Prizes are not exchangeable, not transferrable and cannot be redeemed for cash. 
8. All Prizes are subject to the Flybuys Membership and Reward Currency Terms and Conditions (including Reward Currency expiry dates), which are available at www.flybuys.co.nz. 
9. The Prize Draws in respect of the Promotion will take place on 18 March 2024 and will be conducted by Loyalty New Zealand Limited at Level 3, NZX Building, 11 Cable Street, Wellington.  
10. Prize winners (Winners) for each Prize Draw will be randomly selected by Loyalty NZ from all eligible entries in each Prize Draw. 

Prize winner eligibility 

11. Subject to these Terms and Conditions, and notwithstanding anything in the Flybuys Membership Terms and Conditions, each Flybuys Member is eligible to win a Prize. A Secondary Member whose entry wins a Prize, may choose to open a new Flybuys Account in their own name and have their Prize allocated to that new Account.
12. To be eligible to win in any of the Prize Draws, Account Owner’s Flybuys account details must be complete (including a phone number) and up to date.
13. Each Flybuys Account is only eligible to win one Prize.   
14. A Member will not be eligible to win if that Member is: 

a. an employee or director of Loyalty NZ; or 
b. an immediate family member of an employee or director of Loyalty NZ
c. on the same Flybuys account as an employee or director of Loyalty NZ. 

15. Loyalty NZ may, at its discretion, deem that a Member is not eligible to win with a Prize Draw entry drawn if for any reason that entry has been gained: 

a. as a result of a Flybuys unit that was collected as part of a prize in a promotion;  
b. as a result of tampering with the entry process;  
c. as a result of an eligible transaction that was made within the Promotion Period, which is cancelled at any time during the Promotion Period or at the time prior to the Prize Draw; or 
d. for any other reason not in accordance with the ways Members can receive entries in a Prize Draw as set out in clause 4 these Terms and Conditions. 

16. Unless Loyalty NZ otherwise agrees, to be eligible to win a Member whose entry has been drawn must consent to their name and/or image photograph being used on Flybuys’ Facebook and/or Instagram page and/or the Flybuys website for an unlimited period of time, without remuneration, for the purpose of promoting the Promotion (including any outcome) and the Flybuys programme.  

Prize winner notification and announcement

17. Loyalty NZ will make reasonable efforts to notify Winners that they have won (using that winner’s contact details recorded in the Flybuys membership account records) and confirm with each Winner which Reward Currency or Currencies (New World Dollars, Pumped Fuel Discounts, and/or Flybuys Points) they would like their Prize to convert to. 
18. If for any reason Loyalty NZ has tried but failed to make contact with the Winner and confirm their chosen Reward Currency or Currencies within 5 business days, Loyalty NZ may, at its discretion:

a. deem that winner to have forfeited their right to the Prize; and 
b. draw another eligible winner in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

Allocation and of Prizes and conversion of Flybuys to Reward Currencies

19. Loyalty NZ shall make all reasonable efforts to ensure that all Prizes are allocated to each Winner’s Flybuys account and convert to their chosen Reward Currency or Currencies within 10 business days of the Winner confirming their chosen Reward Currency or Currencies in accordance with Clause 17.
20. Upon allocation, Prizes will convert to each Winner’s chosen Reward Currency or Currencies, as set out in Clause 17.
21. Prizes that have converted to one or more Reward Currencies are subject to the relevant Reward Currency Terms and Conditions, including expiry periods.

The Flybuys “Kiwi Favourites” Facebook Competition (the Competition) is run by Loyalty New Zealand Limited (Loyalty NZ) ​

2.Members can submit an entry into the Competition by telling us what is on their wishlist in the comments section for this post from 6am Monday 8 April to 11:59pm Sunday 14 April (Promotional Period).  Only one entry per Member is permitted. No purchase is required to enter the Competition. ​

Pumped Fuel Discounts from Flybuys​
1. If you select Pumped Fuel Discount from Flybuys as your Reward Currency, you’ll get 3 cents per litre off the advertised pump price for every four Flybuys you earn. Only a Flybuys Account Owner can make a Reward Currency selection.​
2. State

1. The Flybuys Bonus Happies State promotion (“Promotion”) is conducted by State, a business division of IAG New Zealand Limited, 1 Fanshawe Street, Auckland 1010 (“State”).

2. By participating in the Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. 

3. The Promotion commences on Thursday 1 February 2024 and closes at 11.59pm on Wednesday 14 February 2024  (“Promotion Period”)

Eligibility

4. The Promotion is open to any existing Flybuys member who receives an email, direct mail or social advertisement offering this promotion during the Promotion Period; and 

a. is a resident of New Zealand and is aged 18 years or over; 

b. during the Promotion Period purchases a new State Comprehensive Car, Home, Contents or Business Insurance policy (“Qualifying Policy”) in their own name; 

c. has a registered Flybuys card number in their own name linked to their Qualifying Policy at the time that they make the purchase in clause 4(b) and provides their Flybuys details at the time of the purchase;  

and has: 

d. met all payment requirements under a Qualifying Policy (including making at least one payment on the Qualifying Policy by the payment due date);  

e. have made, and State has received, the first payment on at least one Qualifying Policy; and 

f. have not cancelled their Qualifying Policy 

(“Eligible Customer”)

5. The renewal or cancelling and then repurchasing of an existing policy, mid-term adjustments, re-keys, downgrades or the reinstatement of an existing State policy (as determined by State in its sole discretion) does not qualify as purchasing a Qualifying Policy under clause 4(b). 

Reward

6. Eligible Customers will receive 500 bonus Flybuys (“Reward”) for each Qualifying Policy purchased (subject to clause 9 below). 

7. The Reward will be awarded to the Flybuys account linked to the Qualifying Policy four (4) weeks after the payment due date (or such later date as is required by State). For the avoidance of doubt, State will not be obliged to award any Reward to any person where the conditions set out in these terms and conditions have not been met. 

8. The Reward is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. State is not responsible or liable for any Eligible Customer’s inability to use his/her Reward. 

9. An Eligible Customer can claim Rewards on a maximum of ten (10) Qualifying Policies (i.e., 5,000 bonus Flybuys). A HomePack policy constitutes as two (2) policies and is worth 1,000 Flybuys. 

10. The Reward will convert to the Flybuys Reward Currency selected for the Eligible Customer’s Flybuys Account at the time of processing. 

11. State will not be required to provide any person with a Reward where, in State's sole discretion:  

a.            that person is not (or is no longer) eligible; or  

b.            State is unable to contact the person to arrange delivery after using reasonable endeavours. 

General

18. Information collected will be securely held by State, 1 Fanshawe Street, Auckland 1010. State may contact any or all participants for the purpose of the Promotion generally and for marketing and promotional purposes. State may disclose participants’ personal information to Loyalty New Zealand Limited, its Flybuys partners, contractors, and agents in the course of conducting this Promotion and for marketing and promotional purposes.
